We have been imagining how empty and underused garage sites in Oxford might be repurposed for affordable housing, with the people who might live there. To make sure we do this well, we have researched how others have already done this; zooming into key elements such as the number of homes, who will live there, eco-credentials, aesthetics and tenure. We’ve pulled together some visual research, good examples of how other architects and designers have repurposed urban garage sites across the UK, into places that people want to live.
