Joyce is an architecture graduate from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with an MSc in Conservation of Historic Buildings from the University of Bath. She brings a particular interest in socially and environmentally responsible architecture that supports community wellbeing.
As an architectural and certified Passive House Designer, Joyce works at T/D with private clients and housing associations to shape comfortable, low-carbon homes rooted in community needs, and to develop evidence-based design solutions. She delivered the technical design of 31 affordable net-zero homes in Thame and supports deep domestic retrofit projects toward Passivhaus certification. Her experience includes developing retrofit plans via PHPP, heritage statements, and design and access statements.
Outside work, Joyce enjoys travelling and learning languages to connect with cultures and broaden her perspective on living and building spaces.
