Alex is a certified Passivhaus designer specialising in ecological architecture. Alex is best known for innovative ecological redesigns of heritage buildings and community-led housing developments.

He was shortlisted for the RIBA Rising Stars in 2019 and President‘s Awards for Research in 2016. Alex is an Associate Lecturer at the School of Architecture at Oxford Brookes University.
